Professional Tattooing by Alexander Lane
I, Alexander Lane, creator of BlackFern Collective, am a professional tattoo artist in the greater Saint Louis area at Neon Moon Studio in Ellisville, MO. I have been tattooing, professionally, since March of 2021. I specialize in arm sleeves, using photorealism and bold illustrative black and grey styles. I do not typically offer cover-ups or color tattoos but will accept them under certain circumstances. I love custom sleevework, dog portraits and illustrative florals.
How to Book a Tattoo with Me
Booking is simple, so don't waste your time overthinking it. Follow these steps to get a badass tattoo:
- Text me at (636) 233-7863. Please do not email me or contact my socials for bookings.
- Wait for a response from me. I am a one-man-show and only respond to messages twice a week.
- If your design is approved, we will agree upon a date and time, and I will provide you with a private booking link.
- Debit and Credit are accepted to pay your deposit. Dates are not reserved until a deposit is paid.
- Designs are not shown till the day of the appointment. This is to prevent theft. If I have any design questions, I will ask them.
Note: You are not guaranteed a spot by messaging me. I wish I could fit everyone. I review all inquiries to make sure they fit my style and interests. I will never intentionally leave you hanging, though. Once the time is found, I will respond to all messages.
Additional tattoo information
preferred aftercare/healing method (10-14 days)
- Clean your tattoo.
- Gently rinse under warm water and lightly apply antibacterial soap.
- Do not scrub with towel or loofah. Use gentle, circular hand motions.
- Let the tattoo air-dry, or gently pat it dry with a towel.
- Moisturize your tattoo.
- Lightly apply an unscented lotion or aftercare product to the area.
- Lubriderm is a good unscented lotion. Aquaphor is great as well, but can suffocate the area if applied in excess.
- Do not scratch or scrub the area. It will itch and peel. Let it.
- Avoid saunas, hot tubs, baths, swimming, tanning, or extended sun exposure.
- If you have a question regarding a problem with your aftercare, please send me a photo of the area, and describe your worries. Some redness and irritation can be normal, but it's still okay to ask. Infections are incredibly rare.
